Planning your visit

From 17 to 20 September, you will receive reduced admission to our museum (€3.50). Renovation work is taking place, which is why around 20% of the museum cannot be seen in the new building area. You can get your ticket as usual at the ticket office and then enter the museum via our garden in Cäcilienkloster street.

Adult ticket permanent collection: 6 €, concession: 3.50 €

Combo ticket Museum Schnütgen and Rautenstrauch-Joest-Museum: 10 €, concession: 7 €
Group rate permanent collection (from 10 persons): 3.50 € per person

Concession tickets: for students 

Free admission: for children under 6 years of age when accompanied by an adult, school students, apprentices, Cologne residents under 18 years of age, holders of the Köln-Pass and the ICOM-Card as well as for Friends of the Museum.

Tours: information about our guided tours and individual offers can be found under “In dialogue”. Unless stated otherwise, the cost of the tours are included in the listed price.

Annual ticket

The annual ticket allows you to enjoy art and culture as often as you like - for 12 months, 6 days a week in all 9 museums and the Archaeological Zone. The ticket is valid for the permanent collections but can also be purchased to include all special exhibitions.
